linux - Install java plugin in chrome in Ubuntu 14.04 -

i have installed oracle java 7 in /home directory next steps given here (by changing path of installation). still cannot see plugin listed in chrome://plugins tab.

i cannot see running in javatester or here. have tried enabling next steps provided here nil works.

some specifications: operating system: ubuntu 14.04 output of java -version: java version "1.7.0_67" java(tm) se runtime environment (build 1.7.0_67-b01) java hotspot(tm) 64-bit server vm (build 24.65-b04, mixed mode)

please comment if more needed resolving problem

just pull webupd8 servers. follow directions @ next link.
